Caroline was a terrific host -- so kind, welcoming, with a beautiful and well curated apartment. She's a designer herself, and you can really feel that each of the little touches and details of the home were chosen with such care and great taste. Her balcony was just heavenly! Full dose of sunshine every day, and also finished off with such cute little details and splashes of color. Caroline and Laurent were excellent communicators, helping us find the place easily, and even allowing for a slightly earlier check-in since we arrived a little too early in the day. The location is superb -- in a really well-lit and safe neighborhood in Marseille, close to everything! The old port is just five minutes away. What a beautiful week of vacation, thank you so much Caroline!

Appartement propre et bien équipé dans le coeur du vieux port. Je recommande avec les 2 points d'attention déjà cités dans les commentaires (qui seront des points positifs pour certains voyageurs mais pas pour d'autres): une configuration en loft, avec les pièces très ouvertes - pas de chambre cloisonnée. Et au coeur de la zone de restaurants: il peut y avoir un peu de bruit la nuit certains soirs.

Unbeatable location in Le Panier. Cozy apartment. Safe area. The heaters work well in the winter. Good Wi-Fi. Friendly, responsive hosts. I stayed there for four weeks. The only real issue was the lack of insulation. Frequently the apartment would smell strongly of smoke due to neighbors’ chimneys or maybe just air pollution. In the cold months, it comes right in. I’ve stayed in a few Airbnbs in a different city with much worse air quality and not had the same issue. If you don’t have sensitive lungs, or if you go in the summer, you’ll probably be fine. But I have asthma so it affected me. Other than that it was a nice stay.
