However, there were a couple of things we said we would have liked to see considering the cost:
- Only one towel was provided, would have been nice to have an extra clean set to use after the hot tub rather than having to use the same wet towel, plus a smaller hand towel for your hair/face.
- The kitchen supplies were very basic. There was no sponge provided so washing up was difficult and we had only one tiny cloth to clean the surfaces and dishes with. There was only one tea towel and a small roll of kitchen roll provided. It would have been nice to have a few extra staple spices in the cupboard, milk left in the fridge etc. Having just one of everything made things a bit more difficult.
Overall, a lovely stay!
There were a few mild inconveniences, however I must stress not considerable enough to detract from staying again
- The upstairs shower didn't drain properly due to a build up of hair in the plug, which was not pleasant to clean out
- There was only 2 dinner plates within the whole property which meant we had to eat main meals off side plates, of which there we plenty
- The hot water went off on our last night, however a quick message to the owners and this was resolved very quickly - even with it being New Years Eve
