The building itself, as other reviewers have noted, is a bit run down and has some bad smells in the lobby / elevator and questionable loitering outside at times. We also did not have hot water consistently throughout our stay. However, Erol and Jay were incredibly friendly hosts who put great effort into providing information for visitors. Their provided handbook made check in, check out, and exploring Montreal much easier! Overall, the apartment is a great deal and offers a clean, cozy space in a central, convenient location.
