We had a lovely stay at 24 Tanners Yard as a family of four. Kendal is very walkable and the property is central to pretty much everything. We walked to Kendal Castle on one day and there is an excellent playground near Abbott Hall which is great for kids. We'd also highly recommend the Waterside Cafe which is nearby.
If we need to stay in Kendal again we'd definitely stay here.
