Lovely big flat with spacious bedrooms and a great communal area. The location is outstanding - perfect for getting out walking or exploring Ambleside, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Being so central, it is a little noisy in the front bedrooms when the pubs close, so if you're a light sleeper one of the back bedrooms may be better. Otherwise, perfect.

We stayed over Christmas. The house is gorgeous and in a great location. Although it did rain most of the time, it was nice to put on the log burner and just chill. We slept really well and found it quite peaceful. There’s plenty of space for two cars to park and you are only a short walk into town. We went to the cinema which is a stones throw away and visited the pubs and restaurants. Fully recommend the cottage.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Spring Cottage. Although the Airbnb description says the cottage is at Rydal, it isn’t actually located there. They need to change this so’s not to confuse people.
The cottage was lovely and was very well equipped. It was very clean and provided everything we needed. The owner had trimmed the house for Christmas which was a really nice touch. It was in a great location so we were able to get out and do some fabulous walks. We would highly recommend this cottage.
