Glenfuran was a lovely AirBnB property; exactly as described & clean & functional. Walkable to Tobermory & right next to the golf course. Would recommend it to anyone.

Felt lucky to have a week in this cottage in this special location. If you're looking for peace in rural island life, then this is it. I had a great stay in late Sept/early Oct. The dovecot conversion is v well done & characterful. The living room is dark (as others have said) but the other rooms are not & the small but private outside space makes up for it (& the weather was kind to me to enjoy it). Being there in autumn actually meant it was lovely & cosy. I loved being a 5 min walk from Calgary beach (as did the dog), the woodland sculpture trail, right on the doorstep, was a delight, full of magical surprises & the coffee at the cafe was excellent & an added bonus. I also really enjoyed this as a base to explore the North & North/West end of the island (to Ulva etc) & its easy enough to get to Tobermory by car. The stretch of the rally route I did was a driver's delight!

Unfortunately there were power problems while we were there. This was the fault of the power company but the owners were very proactive in helping us as much as they could before proper power was reconnected 2 days later. It would have been much worse if they hadn't lived locally. The house itself was fine with all the requirements taken care of.

Would definitely recommend staying here! The flat was perfect - our toddler had loads of room to crawl around! The views are beautiful, and the flat is a perfect base to explore a beautiful part of the world. The kitchen was tidy, very comfortable, and bathrooms ideal. Thanks!
