Een zeer ruim appartement op een handige locatie om gemakkelijk het eiland te verkennen (vlakbij de snelweg). Je kunt gratis parkeren op straat (niet in parkeergarage zoals staat aangegeven). De keuken is goed uitgerust en bevat alles wat je nodig hebt om zelf een maaltijd te bereiden. Persoonlijk vonden wij de hoofdkussen veelste stug en dik en het matras minder comfortabel als we gewend zijn. De woning is schoon maar gedateerd, bijvoorbeeld de badkamers. Als je op zoek bent naar een groot appartement dichtbij de snelweg is het een prima uitvalsbasis.

We were so lucky to have found this place at the last minute. Maria is just wonderful and made us feel at home. She was so friendly and helpful. She also had little Knick knacks during our stay that made it so special - some beer in the fridge, fruits on the table, home made bread, some Madeira wine. We would love to come back and stay here. The place and surroundings are beautiful

Das kleine Häuschen hatte alles was man braucht. Die Gegend war sehr ruhig. Mit dem Auto war man innerhalb von 30 Minuten in Funchal und innerhalb von 1,5 h in Porto Moniz.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut, ich hatte nichts auszusetzen.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr sehr nette Menschen, uns wurde zur Begrüßung Obst und typisches Brot bereitgestellt, sowie Bier und Wasser im Kühlschrank. Zudem hat uns die Gastgeberin einmal Fleisch von einem typischen portugiesischen Gericht und Gebäck vorbei gebracht. Wenn man irgendwelche Fragen hatte konnte man sich immer an sie wenden. Außerdem konnte man sich sehr gut mit ihnen unterhalten, wenn auch manchmal mit google Übersetzer😅.
