Tatsuya’s place was charming, comfortable and very well designed. The location was pretty good, very walkable and just south of Gion. It can be slightly noisy when there are other guests staying at the apartment upstairs but this didn’t did not bother us. There’s a bike rental place a few doors down which provided the perfect way to explore Kyoto and nearby bamboo forests. A convenience store just down the block was also very useful. We would stay here again. Thanks Tatsuya for the wonderful time!
