A lovely, well equipped and comfortable cottage in a great location. On the edge of town enjoying countryside views, while just a short walk to the town centre with good amenities (pub, two takeaways, small shop, butcher and farm shop and deli). Within easy reach of the north norfolk coast and fantastic beaches. We had a great stay and would happily stay at the cottage again.

Lovely house, exactly like photos. Tom at Norfolk Cottage Agency was very responsive and helpful in advance of arrival and Julie-Anne (the owner) went above and beyond once we arrived especially with regards to arranging a travel cot and high chair for my son. She also provided us with helpful recommendations on a lovely walk and restaurant guide.

The location of the property is unbeatable! Placed right behind sheringham high street and a stone’s throw from the beach.
The property was a good size and the layout was great.
Unfortunately the house needs a little bit of TLC, although generally clean, there were lots of cobwebs, the heating in the living room doesn’t work, although fan heaters have been provided. The hot water pressure is very bad so you can only have one thing running at a time, the shower goes off if someone turns on the tap at the same time.
The double bed is the back room is very uncomfortable. The sofas in the living room are very dated and look quite dirty and worn.
It is a great house and with a little love would be the perfect holiday house to return to.
The hosts were very responsive and allowed us an extra hour on the check out time which was very much appreciated!

Wow - A Lovely hidden Gem, Simply breathtaking, A stunning chapel that has not just been renovated but lovingly renovated with such intrinsic detail, it was so warm, cosy, and full of love and has absolutely everything and I mean everything a family will need.
Wow - The owner Edward so thoughtfully undertook a meet and greet with us, gave us a gorgeous welcome pack, and he is such a genuine lovely guy - Thank you!
Wow - Fakenham is a lovely little town with all you need!

Spacious older style house well modernised. Everything worked apart from the lounge radiator. An oil filled radiator was provided which was fine. In a sudden cold snap it took a day or so for the house to warm up and achieve the thermostat temperature but then it felt very cosy. We enjoyed our stay very much in this delightful place.
