We had a wonderful New Year’s at Moonrise Kingdom. Home is charmingly decorated and the views were spectacular. The home was well located to Doran Beach as well as the restaurants in Bodega Bay.

Our family of four stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. House was very clean and as described. Layout worked well for us and great room has a great view. One thing to note is that it looks onto the golf course and so there is a steady round of golfers in front of that view. It never was an issue for us but may be for some. All this said, we plan to rent it again.

We used this property for a 10 person family get-together, and it worked well. There are good spaces to gather, including a large dining table that accommodated our entire group. There are also good spaces for a break if needed. The fireplace was lovely on the cool days and nights during our stay. The central courtyard and hot tub area is a delight. The beach is a short walk away, and the ocean and sunset views from the main living areas are breathtaking.
