Great place to stay while visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The Airbnb was clean and easy to settle into and perfectly sized for two guests. Host was kind and responsive. The only downside was that the wifi was basically unusable and did not work at all during our stay, so the TV was also unusable. Otherwise, it was a fine place to stay.

Pictures do no Justice for this home! I spent the week here on a mini get away & came back with my fiancé! To say the least about spending time with your significant other here (&dog) was a great experience as the home is so cozy & clean! Honestly, the only thing that might be a little feeling a bit off is at night time there are no blinds for the bedroom windows! It was something you get used to because the home is actually located in its own private area! -Plus, it’s cabin living! *THE SUNRISE IS BEAUTIFUL HERE!! You will wake up to a gorgeous scene everyday & INSANE star gazing at night! All in comfort of own home!*Acadia is about 30/40 mins, super quick when you actually do it so it didn’t really bother us! The home was actually a great opportunity as when in Acadia it seems to be a little crowded. If you use the IPhone GPS, it will take you to woods instead of the home- if this happens just continue to move straight ahead about the next 3 mail boxes! Thank you Susan for all help!

We were 2 couples staying at Post and Beam. We traveled to Maine to visit Acadia NP. It is about a 45 minute drive to the park from this location, which we did all but one day of our week stay. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement as well and the fire pit in the backyard. Susan is responsive and had plenty of helpful information on different things to do and where to shop in the area. The check-in and out was simple. We enjoyed our stay at the lovely Post and Beam!

We had a great time here. Loved being near the quieter side of Acadia national park. The small coastal towns are so cute and quiet. The drive over to the main part of Acadia/ Bar Harbor was very doable, we did it two days in a row. I would keep in mind that things start closing in October and google isn’t always reliable when saying what is or isn’t open. Loved our stay and highly recommend!
