There is ongoing construction nearby, so it did get noisy during the day, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The gatekeeper, who lives on the property, was super helpful in showing us how to use the golf carts, and we felt very safe with him on-site.
The location was perfect—close to Secret Beach and many main attractions. We had a large group, and the house had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a group trip to Belize!

That said, there were a few hiccups during our stay. The pool was unavailable upon arrival, and on our second day we experienced a full power and water outage for most of the day, which unfortunately led to us losing groceries. While these issues were outside of the host’s control, they did have a big impact on our trip. The hosts stayed in constant communication and did what they could given the circumstances. We also had a bedroom with a broken A/C unit, which was eventually fixed.
Be prepared for early morning wakeups from the neighboring roosters! Despite the challenges, we still enjoyed our time and with a bit of luck on utilities this would be a 5 star stay.
