Le seul petit défaut que l'on a pu noter, c'est l'absence de rideau opaque dans le salon, car nous dormions sur la canapé lit et avions le jour assez tôt le matin, mais à cette saison, cela était peu dérangeant.

From the first moment on we felt very welcome by Alberto and his team helping us to check in and carry our luggage. The house was perfectly prepared and clean. If you want to feel the atmosphere of staying in an old-world villa, this is the place to be! Located in the direct neighbourhood of an ancient settlement above the village of La Spezia along a small stone path, the house with its terraces and the garden guarantees absolute privacy and tranquillity. No street noise and you can hear only the birds, and the crickets and at nights you can see thousands of glow worms blinking in the large garden – amazing natural phenomenon.
We rode our own mountain bikes on the great tracks around the house. Through the large forest, behind the house, you can easily reach the coast of the Cinque Terre on the other side of the hills.
There is parking for one car at the property and also on the nearby main road.
We loved the cozy fireplace at night. Cant wait to come back !
My family and I enjoyed an amazing week in Albertos villa, the house was beautiful as pictured and large enough that all of us had our own space and plenty to share too (including a charming garden where we enjoyed eating outside several nights).
Various terraces in front and rear allow you sun or shade when you like.
Alberto was super friendly and kind enough to offer us an early check in at no extra cost. We were greeted upon arrival on the main street and helped to carry our bags up the small stoneway to the Villa. Thereafter he showed us around the house and offered us great recommendations in the local area. All rooms are very comfortable, clean and tastefully finished in true Ligurian style with great views from all rooms ; A/C worked perfectly, good water pressure and fast WIFI and the mosquito nets allowed airy insect free warm nights).
