Phoebe’s Cottage is a beautifully curated historical cottage, with impeccable attention to detail when it comes to interior design, organic luxury bathroom products & local gourmet kitchen treats. The wood fire oven was a lovely comforting spot to gather. There were lots of books & magazines to read, and blankets & cushions to snuggle in & watch a film. There was a lovely rambling garden to explore, with a little fairy garden our daughter delighted in. Unfortunately (in spite of the central & bedroom heaters provided) we felt very cold), and this was our only issue. We would definitely return, but not in winter. We imagine it to be the perfect Spring - Autumn property. Overall, our stay was a delightful & memorable experience. We love the story of Phoebe and the history of the cottage.

Amazing location, spacious and has gorgeous views of the lake. We were very relaxed and felt right at home. All rooms come with its own bathroom ensuite so everyone has privacy. Location is near restaurants and shops. The kitchen has everything you need from utensils to all the cookware to make a feast. 100% would come again to this place!

We had the most wonderful girls weekend away on this property. It was so easy to check in and the house was better than the photos. There was fresh bread and eggs for us and the fire was already lit when we arrived. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed in the house. We were completely taken away by the interior design and the thought put into every room. There was even a wine fridge! The farm is only 10 minutes from town and it was so easy to get to and from down the main road, but it was far away enough that we were able to disconnect. The house had such a homely feel and everything you needed. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Such a luxurious and comfortable property, so central but also so private and nestled within a wonderful greenery and tree lined front and back yard. Bath and sauna were amazing ! Kitchen could have used instructions/manual for the oven as we initially had some issues getting it to stay turned on. The ducted heating took a while to warm up the whole property and the room downstairs also took a while to heat up with the oil heater. The fireplace helped really warm up the house quickly though and there were plenty amenities in the kitchen, backyard BBQ and the bathrooms.
