We had a great time at this cabin with our two kids. The cabin is beautiful inside and out, and was easy to get to (just followed online maps directions), though arriving after dark (and in the fog) was a little tricky so I would definitely try to get there a bit earlier. We enjoyed spreading out to the three bedrooms and three full baths, playing with some of the games, the hot tub, and the multiple TVs (and the Christmas tree!). We brought groceries and cooked every night. Note that AWD is recommended (and listed as required by the mgmt company) in this county - we did not know this but had no issues, as there was only a dusting of snow each morning and the driveway to this cabin is pretty flat. There are neighbors to each side visible (in winter at least) but it still felt pretty private and was certainly very quiet. We drove to Wisp one afternoon for snow tubing, which was super fun. Highly recommend this cabin!

Best Kept Secret was a perfect post-Christmas getaway for a group of Deep Creek first timers. The house was easy to find and being out of season the area was very quiet. Local activities were 10-20mins away (wisp, swallow falls, Oakland, etc). The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was also very clean. The bedroom in the lower level does get chilly, there is a large space heater but it’s pretty loud. 100% would stay here again.
