We stayed at Christmas it was lovely and quiet. The amenities including onsite shop was closed though unfortunately, that’s down to the site not the owner. Shops are up the road though. Felt disappointed the chalet wasn’t cleaned properly particularly the bathroom and bedding had weird black oil like stain. Thankfully I had cleaning products with me to sort the bathroom. It’s naughty as the cleaner wouldn’t have many chalets being winter too. Kitchen was clean though and well equipped for everything we needed including washing machine&dryer. The owner was very quick to respond when there was a power cut caused by a problem off site from the strong winds. Despite the issues the chalet felt very warm and felt so peaceful and quiet at christmas. we had a lovely relaxing stay and enjoyed the local walks.

Great value for the money . Couple of little things would have been handy like a hoover and mop . As we stayed for a week it would be nice to be able to clean as we go . We have a 3 year old and a dog so was hard to stay tidy ! Other than that all good .

Lovely Park, laid out on first appearance to be busy, but was pleasantly calm and peaceful. Great walks around the park with my little dog, little shop for that last minute treat.
Restaurant was nice, but only dog friendly til 5pm. would happily return .
