On this subject, the wood provided was damp so we spent a fair bit of money on kindling and fire wood.
The morning of our blessing was spent sending messages asking for the heating to be increased and that there was no hot water. Considering only 4 people had taken a shower and my bride hadn’t this was frustrating. We messaged the host and the heating was turned up but we had to wait an hour for the water to heat.
On the listing it stated that essentials would be provided although we had to top the shower gels up as they were mostly empty, only 1 dishwasher tablet , 5 loo rolls and 2 bin bags for 11 people!
Despite these issues we and all our guests found the house absolutely beautiful & perfect for our event.
