Our stay was wonderful. The house is perfect for a family and kids. The game room was a huge hit with the kids. Beds and linens are comfortable. The pool and spa area are wonderful and private. Super close to the airport and most major attractions. The host was very responsive and flexible with our arrival time and any questions we had while staying. A nice, clean house tucked farther back from town in Big Bear. The rooms, bathrooms, and living area were great. Comfy beds and cute decor. The game room was a draw and fun, but not insulated, so we were too cold to spend time in there (in March), even with 2 space heaters. Confirm parking spaces if you have more than 2 vehicles and bring your own EV charger if needed. Supplies were not all stocked so bring anything important to you. For cooking, bring your own supplies including foil, oil, etc. There are plenty of spices there. Also bring your own laundry detergent if you plan to do laundry, the ones there were nearly empty (important for families/kids!)

In short: Book ASAP. Absolutely fantastic.
Long version: The space is adorable & looks just like the pictures. I surprised my kids w/the game room so it was extra fun to find it "hidden" in a wall. The massive tv and popcorn machine were perfect for movie night. The back yard is incredible w/plenty of space to lounge, play, and eat. We loved that it was accessible by multiple rooms so the kids could go to bed but the adults could sneak out to see the stars-which were beautiful on our trip! The beds are all very comfy w/tons of pillows and linens. The master bath is WOW! We appreciated all of the "extras". Extra pillows, bath towels, beach towels, throw blankets, paper towels, trash bags, laundry pods...everything you need.
The city itself is so charming &we had the best time exploring shops and restaurants along the beach which is only a couple min away. Beautiful sunsets! We loved staying away from San Diego but a doable drive for the zoo, etc. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

One of the best hosts I’ve had so far. Everything was as described if not better, there is an awesome view of the city that you just have to see for yourself. Any problems that arose were quickly responded to and they helped me solve, including questions I had even before we booked! Some people remarked on their review about plane noise-to which I’d say there was some, but it was in no way intrusive or too loud for our experience, and it was even cool to watch the planes take off. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very respectful. All in all I would highly recommend this spot to others looking to stay in San Diego, and I hope to return!
