Came for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. Upon arrival, hosts were a bit hard to reach— we reached out about an issue with bugs & received no response; our 2nd car of guests had an issue getting into the gate after 5pm despite being told there would not be an issue (hosts did not answer phone but texted saying we would have to go let them in which was different than what we were previously told). Additionally, there was supposed to be 2 towels per guest but there was only 1 per person which isn’t a huge issue but we could’ve been better prepared had we known. The initial supply of paper towels and trash bags was also insufficient so we had to supplement, which we were prepared for. Overall though the home was great — it was in a beautiful location, quiet neighborhood, and was spacious & homey. The devastation from hurricane Helene was still apparent in certain areas but we are thankful to have been able to be a part of rebuilding this local economy! Would stay again (:

This is now one of our favorite AirBnBs and we are planning our next trip for the Fall. This cabin was BEAUTIFUL, clean and had more than basic amenities. It had so much space (both inside and out) for adults and kids. We loved the enclosed wrap around porch for our pup and the hot tub! The downstairs had so much to do—-it kept our kiddos entertained for hours. I can’t say enough about this place. You can tell they have a superb cleaning crew and take great care of this oasis in the mountains!
*Note to those not from the area: there are a few steep and winding gravel roads to get to this location. Our vans traveled just fine to get there, but I would have been hesitant if there was any kind of bad weather expected.

We’ve been too many cabins and this one def is on top 5, it had so much to offer. The outdoors was inviting and cozy. Tons of seating, games, and even a gas fireplace. The owner must be a game fan because there were soo many games. We even did game tournaments. The mattress in the main rooms are super comfortable. In my opinion, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and more spacious than pictures show. Super dog friendly home. The only thing missing is an extra bathroom in basement. That would have been ideal. We saw deers running around, super cute. Drive up is easy and comfortable.
Inglés is 15 min away with a Starbucks and a big gas station. Lake lure was damaged and there isn’t much to do around. But if you’re looking for a cabin stay. Bonfires and games with the family. This is your spot.
