Overall this place was very nice, we loved our stay and would go back! The condo building is smaller in size so it was quiet and peaceful, and the beach was beautiful and wasn’t over crowded. This particular condo was right by the stairs to the beach and parking lot so it was easy and convenient to make our way out to do things. It has beautiful beach views for the kitchen, living room, balcony, and bedroom.
Only complaints are that the listing said that cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil would be provided, they were not. A second trip to the store fixed that. Also, it did not explain that the beach chairs setup that is included would only be for 2 people, to get additional set up is quite expensive.

We loved Silver Dunes and the location. Unit 026 that we rented looks to be a somewhat recent remodel. The bathroom was the least updated of all the rooms and could be improved a bit. But we really had no complaints and would stay here again. The beach is awesome and an easy walk. We loved having the included beach service for the week. The pool was great. Some kid activities in the courtyard are a nice touch (outdoor movie night and s'mores night). The battery was low on the thermostat (still working) and was replaced the same day after we reported it. We met a lot of nice people as well while there and loved walking across the street to get ice cream at Shakes. The water park is super close. The go-kart track is close. Lots of restaurants and stores are just a short drive away. The only suggestion I would have is a little more in the kitchen area with another frying pan, few more glasses, salt AND pepper, and some provided dish soap. But a terrific stay for us!

We really enjoyed our stay. I’m a bit of a clean freak and noticed some areas that weren’t up to my standards, but overall it was ok. The master bed is the most comfortable bed ever!!! We loved having the half bath downstairs. The location is great. Only a five minute walk to beach.

Honestly, I think the only issue I had was an Airbnb mishap on pricing.
Silver Dunes has an excellent location, and is very family friendly. Lots of room in the condominiums...it would've been good information to know up front on needing reservations to get front row beach service (table & two chairs w/umbrella is $245 for the week, and you need to reserve early for front row). Otherwise you get stuck behind umbrellas that obscure the view of the beautiful ocean. The entire beach of Destin is lined with umbrellas. Just something to know for those that are new to Destin.
Overall great experience. We loved it! It's a small, which is better in terms of beach service, not as many people. Bring a flashlight for crab hunting at night if you have kids!
Airbnb was just a little deceptive on their discount and pricing. I was originally paying $245/night, but ended up paying $323...so just pay close attention to that to resolve any issues PRIOR to your stay when "discounts" are mentioned.
