I loved rising at 5.30am to see the sunrise over the meadow in front of our venue, while listening to the morning chorus of birds (you can always go back to bed!) We were treated to a visit from a barn owl on our last morning.
It was so relaxing drinking our morning coffee on the large balcony, (a sun-trap), while reading a book.
We will definitely return.

The lounge area is fabulous with 3 sofas and bean bags and big windows looking across the field.
There’s a bathroom or en-suite for each bedroom all with toiletries.
We had a fabulous weekend catching up with family which was a joy.
We only ate out one evening at Momiji in nearby Harleston (which we can definitely recommend if you like Japanese style cuisine, but there are plenty of other nearby options.
There’s plenty of walking routes and the coast is about 30 minutes away.
The Granary is ideal for a short or longer break to discover Suffolk.
My favourite was the massive windows overlooking the meadow, shame we couldn’t see any animals!
Donna was responsive and accommodating, which is always highly appreciated.
Overall exceptional place and would love to come back!
